The Church of S. Flaviano <\/strong> in the locality of Tavolero <\/strong> can be considered the most interesting and characteristic example of the Monti della Laga area. The building has a single hall typology with a square choir; the portal is placed on the south side and therefore not in axis with the choir, to the east, while the pitched roof develops in the north – south direction. Not far from the ancient town, the presence of a church so architecturally important and precisely it is hard to believe that that building of worship is what remains of a church, originally, even larger.
